There are two chutes in each of the second, third and fourth floor trash rooms. One chute is to be used for mixed recyclable items and the other for regular trash items. Cardboard may be inserted into the mixed recycling chute as long as it is cut into small square pieces that easily fit down the chute door. Please transport larger pieces of flattened cardboard to the first floor trash room and place them in the area to the left of the door. For large quantities of cardboard resulting from your move-in, please place your flattened pieces in the cardboard bin located in the alley behind the north tower fountain area. We highly recommend you request your movers and/or delivery companies remove any cardboard or trash associated with your move for you.
